Back To School Inspiration: Kid’s Rooms

As we continue with our Back To School theme, we wanted to focus on a place that will become your child’s refuge during the school year. A place where they not only sleep, but do their homework, play with their friends, go for some much needed downtime. Take a look at some of these great designs for children’s rooms below.

We love the color combination in this room. One thing to consider when designing a space for a child is the ability for the child to grow in the space. Make it youthful, while still maintaining the design aesthetic for the rest of the house.

Storage is the key to organization. If you don’t want toys and clothes forever littering the floors of your child’s room, then find creative storage solutions for the space. We love the layout of this room, drawers and shelves under the bed.

Your child will need to access the storage, so keep it close to the ground.

Bunk beds are a great space saver. Great for sleepovers, bunk beds allow you to accommodate more kids in smaller spaces. Have an avid reader on your hands? These reading lights will come in handy, and solve the problem of reading with limited light.

If you are going to carry out a theme, such as sports, in a child’s room, keep it tasteful. We love how they shaped the baseball cards like a diamond, very clever.
