Bastille Day- French Inspired Design

Joyeux Quatorze Juillet, or as we Americans say, Happy Bastille Day! This Saturday, July 14th, the French celebrate the storming of the Bastille, which marked the beginning of the French Revolution.

Bastille Day is also celebrated here in New Orleans, after all La Nouvelle-Orléans is named after Philippe d’Orléans, Duke of Orléans, Regent of France.

So today, in celebration of our French heritage I wanted to highlight some French-inspired design.

 

 

 

 

So this Bastille  Day, hit the French Quarter and party like it’s 1789.
