Dragons as Home Decor
Since we recently entered the Year of the Dragon in the Chinese calendar, dragon home decor seems to be popping up everywhere. Design blog Apartment Therapy did a post on dragon-themed artwork, and Kelly Market compiled an array of chic dragon accessories. Even Traditional Home Magazine tossed their dragon picks in the mix, and I especially love three of the ones they included in their February/March issue:
Meissen’s Ming Dragon Tableware is perfect for the Year of the Dragon.
This dragon sculpture by Lladro can be perched on a tabletop or shelf for visual interest.
This pink, green and yellow pattern from Scalamandre would add a burst of color to a room.

If you’re interested in incorporating dragon decor in your home, consider the feng shui. This article suggests putting a dragon piece out in an area that’s open and to have it face away from a wall, among other tips.
