You don’t have to completely overhaul your home’s design. Instead, just tweak a few things here and there, such as adding brighter, more energetic, colored wallpaper to your walls. Adding colorful accessories to your design will help liven up a room as well. One of the things that I like to do in order to bring some of the spring feeling into the home is to add fresh flowers and plants throughout my design. Adding houseplants and flowers to your interior design not only adds a bit of color, it also helps improve your home’s air quality.

I also recommend replacing some of those heavy textiles that you used during the winter, such as the drapes and replacing them with lighter window treatments in order to let in as much natural sunlight as possible. If you’re happy with the elements of your interior design, then maybe just consider moving some of your furniture around. For example, if you had your furniture away from the windows during the winter in order to avoid possible drafts, put them back by the windows to soak up the sunlight.
