A Chic Holiday Table Created By Susan Currie Design
Entertaining is a major part of the holiday season. To give you decorating inspiration, I created a unique holiday table setting in a blue and white with silver shimmers. It’s a color combination that perfect for Hanukkah and the entire winter season. Take a look…
My inspiration for the design began with the blue tablecloth made from a Duralee fabric from the Eileen Kathryn Boyd Collection. I love how the floral pattern sparkles!
Mercury glass finials, tea lights with tiny circles, and the textured silver container for the hydrangea came from Lush Life Home and Garden in Buckhead, while the linen napkins came from Atlanta’s Gramercy Fine Linens & Furnishings. The heirloom sterling silver napkin rings and dessert plates are from my personal collection.
The table setting reflects a number of recent interior design trends spotted at the Fall/Winter High Point Market, including a bit of shimmer with the fabric, silver finials and vase; circular motifs with the hydrangeas and tablecloth; and the folded look of the tea lights.
Here’s to setting the table stylishly this holiday season!
